Requirements
You can only submit one entry per each category. When submitting more than one project or program, a separate nomination and entry fee must be submitted for each nomination. Incomplete nominations will not be considered.

All nominations will be submitted online. Within the online application, you will be able to upload a link to up to 3 web pages. You will also be able to upload up to 3 supporting documents. Please limit the size of your supporting documents. More is not better (one-to-two page documents is a good guideline). Within the online application, you must explain the significance of each uploaded document and weblink. Documents and links with no explanation will be ignored.

After submitting your application online, you will receive an invoice shortly and must remit payment by February 8, 2010 at 5:00pm (PST). Any application that has not been paid for will not be considered. CALED accepts checks and all major credit card payments.

A panel of CALED members, expert in various aspects of the field of economic development, will evaluate each nomination package. For more information, contact My Kristy Nong with CALED, at 916-448-8252, ext. 13.

NOMINATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED (USING THE "SUBMIT" BUTTON) BY FEBRUARY 1, 2010 AT 12:00P.M. (PST).

October 5, 2009 Call for Nominations.

December 1, 2009 Awards Announcement regarding deadline.

February 1, 2010 Deadline for Application Submittal.

February 8, 2010 Awards Payment Deadline.

February 4, 2010 Final call for Judges to discuss applications.

February 22, 2010 Judging deadline.

February 24, 2010 Awards Announcement sent to applicants for review.

March 2, 2010 Awards will be engraved for all Winners.

April 22, 2010 Announcement of Grand Prize Winner and Awards presentation at the Annual Conference in Long Beach, CA.

Awardees can have CALED staff make a second awards presentation at a local venue. All Awardees may also purchase a duplicate award at their own expense. Please submit these requests to My Kristy Nong at 916-448-8252, ext. 13.

Application Materials
CALED WILL NOT ACCEPT AWARD APPLICATIONS AS OF 12PM ON FEBRUARY 1, 2010.
