Rachael Alexander
Office Manager
Rachael Alexander joined the CALED team in the fall of 2004. She was hired as a part time Administrative Assistant while she was attended California State University, Sacramento. In the winter of 2007, Rachael was promoted to the position of Executive Assistant. Now, after receiving her Bachelors Degree she has been promoted to the position of Office Manager.
Rachael grew up in Chico California, where she was very active in community theatre. Rachael attended California State University, Chico on a Vocal Performance Scholarship for two years. Rachael then followed her family to Sacramento in 2004 where she completed her degree in Liberal Studies and Music.
Rachael's promotion, to the position of Office Manager, is a reflection of her dedication and loyalty to CALED. In her new role Rachael will continue to support special projects, events, Board of Directors meetings, and job advertisements; she will continue to be the Executive Assistant to the CEO and COO and will add managing the operations of the front office.
If you know Rachael, you immediately know that she loves meeting people, making sure they are comfortable, and a welcome member of the CALED family.
In her leisure time, Rachael enjoys time with her boyfriend Bobby, where they are active in sporting events, often seen accompanied by their nieces. She enjoys community theater and hopes to get back to performing.
Rachael has found a love for our industry and is excited to focus her learning and career on economic development and its importance in building a vital community.
